Fifty years ago, at Swansea on 31 August 1968, Sir Garfield Sobers hit 'Six Sixes' in one
six-ball over - the first player in senior cricket to achieve the feat.
But who was the unlucky bowler? None other than Glamorgan all-rounder,
and later captain, Malcolm Nash. Join Malcolm to relive an iconic moment
in cricket history - by chance recorded for posterity by BBC Wales
(watch here); learn more about his bowling and his own feats as a big-hitter (four consecutive sixes in one over, plus the
fastest-ever century in the B&H Cup); and enjoy great stories of
cricket in the 60s and 70s, many featuring the all-conquering Yorkshire
team of that era - Close, Trueman, Boycott, Illingworth et al.
Signed copies of Malcolm's autobiography - Not Only, But Also: My Life in Cricket (St David's Press, May 2018) - will be available. Read more in interviews with Gareth Griffiths, BBC Sport Wales [here]; Lawrence Booth, Daily Mail [here]
