Sri Lanka bound

News of Yorkshire players from all corners of the globe this week. Five youngsters plus captain Andrew Gale (right) and pace bowler Jack Brooks are heading for Sri Lanka for a short camp after the BCCI refused English counties use of Indian facilities for pre-season training.

Meanwhile Gary Ballance has made a great start for the England Lions. Check here for the first of Gary's tour diaries. Over in Adelaide Liam Plunkett is performing well during his stint at the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy. And Jonny Tattersall made a fighting 63 in a narrow defeat for the England Under-19s in the second Test in Paarl.

Closer to home, fast bowler Oliver Hannon-Dalby is currently on trial with Warwickshire; Iain Wardlaw talks more about his remarkable rise to possible international honours with Scotland; and executive chairman Colin Graves bids to become deputy chairman of the ECB.
